Winter has arrived, and our closets fabric dress that shelter us but that does not make us lose glamor. Within these tissues is velvet.
Velvet is the new trend this winter: dresses, blazers, skirts, jackets, coats, accessories,… all clothes are velvet surrender. Not to wear muted colors, not too dark, but that velvet has come this season to make an ode to color.
This trend has already started to see on the runways in past seasons, and after these long forgotten, velvet again flood our streets and urban fashion in general.
As always, the first to have been pointed out to wear velvet garments have been the famous. Drew Barrymore, Kim Kardashian, Angelina Jolie and Scarlett Johansson among others have been the first who dared to wear dresses and monkeys velvet in the red carpets and social events to which tend to go.
The truth is that the velvet have so many fans as detractors, but in truth, is fast becoming a very good choice for prom dresses, very appropriate for the Christmas season to come.
